Dear Ladies, thank you all for stopping by and visiting my booth at the Fabric Patch during the Southern California Quilter’s Run. It was fun to meet you all and talk to you about the beautiful hand painted yarns that are my passion. If you put your name in for the “daily drawing” look for information on that in a separate email.
Since the Run, I have finished another pattern in the Two Skein Shawl Series. Remember, you may make either of these shawls larger if desired by repeating sections of the pattern and adding another skein of yarn. Pictures of this design are posted on the website.
o I I am pleased to announce that Abuelita’s Knitting and Needlepoint, in South Pasadena is carrying my yarn, and you should see it out on the shelves there around the first of next week. (They have a sale going on right now, you may want to check out). For store hours, directions, classes, etc, visit www.abuelitasknittingandneedlepoint.com. If you are closer to the Claremont area, you may find my yarn at Phebie’s Needle Art, www.phebies.com. , a wonderful knitting, beading and Brazilian Embroidery shop.
In September, I will have the privilege of joining Ginger’s Quilt Shoppe as an outside vendor, during the Anniversary Sale, September 19. I will have another new pattern by then and will bring lots of yarn. Ginger’s information can be found by visiting www.gingersquiltshoppe.com
I am in the process of planning two, “in studio” workshop days for Saturday, October 24, and Saturday November 14. Workshop times will be from 10-2. One session will be in the Pasadena area, and one session will be in the Alta Loma area. Space is limited, so let me know if you are interested. Reservations will be necessary when all the details are set. This will be a perfect opportunity to start a gift using one of the “ Two Skein” patterns, and you will still have adequate time to finish it in time for the Holidays.
Kindest personal regards to all,
Red Barn Yarn
